Creative Girls Art was launched by occupational therapist, Andrea Thinnes in the summer of 2012 as a means to encourage young girls to express themselves through art in a fun, interactive, caring environment. The two fold intention of Creative Girls Art is to support girls in the development of confidence and communication skills and encourage creativity and self-discovery through the visual arts.

Our summer art camps run Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through select weeks of the summer.
Camps are focused on girls ages 7-13 years old.
Parents of girls 6 years old that have completed kindergarten may inquire about advanced registration options.

Camp Environment:
Girls will receive instruction in a creative and supportive environment.
Each day they will work hard on projects in a variety of visual arts formats including watercolor, acrylics, chalk pastels, textile art, and mixed media, and others.
